Sabine Kliesch, MD, is the Head of the Department of Clinical and Surgical Andrology of the Center of Reproductive Medicine and Andrology (CeRA) and specialised in urology, andrology and medical tumour therapy. Her clinical and research topics comprise the impairment of human spermatogenesis, early diagnosis and late effects of testis cancer, the optimised diagnosis and treatment of male infertility and hypogonadism as well as the preservation and restoration of male fertility. The research activities focus on clinical and translational research aspects. She is member of several relevant societies in the field and since 2020 President of the German Society of Andrology. She published more than 250 peer-reviewed original articles, reviews and book chapters in the field of andrology and received several prizes for her research and awards for her training activities for urologists and andrologists.
