Introduction Letter

 

   The operating theatre environment has changed dramatically over the past ten years, with a greater number of minimally invasive advanced procedures being performed. In well-established endoscopic centers and units ninety percent of operations is performed by endoscopic approach. The use of novel technologies in laparoscopy and hysteroscopy is becoming more and more an established method of treatment. 

   This one-day masterclass course provides an in depth insight into application of novel laser safe techniques in minimally invasive surgery. Lectures will include power point with video presentations and there will be live demonstration surgery of several cases by laparoscopy and hysteroscopy. 

   This course is aimed to Consultant Gynecologists, Subspecialty Fellows in Gynae-Endoscopic surgery and residents in gynecology who have exposure and special interest in advanced endoscopic surgery.
